Borussia Dortmund bus explosion: Monaco fans chant for Dortmund in solidarity after bomb calls Champions League game off

MONACO fans have chanted for Borussia Dortmund in solidarity after a bomb called their Champions League game off tonight.

Dortmund star Marc Bartra was hospitalised after an explosion near the Signal Iduna Park stadium and the game will take now place tomorrow night.

Fans were not in danger at the stadium, with the incident happening near the team hotel about six miles away from the stadium.

Details of the explosion were put up on the big screen at Dortmund's home ground with updates from the matchday announcer, naturally changing the atmosphere inside.

But as home fans worriedly checked their phones for information and filed out of the ground, the visiting French fans made a wonderful gesture.

They began to chant "Dortmund Dortmund" and clapped their German counterparts - with the Borussia fans clapping back in return.

Bartra was the only person hurt in the incident and is stable with minor cuts after the shattering of a window on the team bus following one of the blasts - with Bild reporting as many as three explosions.
