Arsenal to move for Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon as part of summer shake-up of coaching staff

ARSENAL are set to make a move for Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon this summer.

The Gunners are planning a major revamp of the current coaching staff, with a new goalkeeping coach to work with the first team a high priority, .

Lollichon, 54, comes highly recommended by Arsenal's current number one Petr Cech, as the pair have worked together throughout the Czech Republic keeper's career.

The Frenchman moved to Stamford Bridge in 2007 to link up with Cech after their time together at Rennes.

Lollichon was marginalised after a reported falling out with Thibaut Courtois, and is now out of the first team picture with the arrival of Antonio Conte with his own technical staff.

Cech and Lollichon could be reunited at the Emirates after a two-season break, with the Frenchman working alongside Gunners goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton.

The Arsenal hierarchy, as part of the technical staff shake up want a director of football, after Ivan Gazidis recently stated Wenger must be a 'catalyst for change' at the club.

Arsenal travel to Crystal Palace on Monday, as they look to keep pace in the chase for a top four spot after Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United all won last weekend.
