Swedish Sunderland fans travel to Stadium of Light to cheer on their team.. but end up seeing a 3-0 thrashing and ‘hero’ Sebeastian Larsson sent off
The fans, who travelled from Lund and have supported the Black Cats since 1973, even had banners for their favourite player
IT was supposed to be a nice day out in the sunshine watching their team secure a vital win in their relegation battle.
But instead, a Sunderland supporters branch from Sweden soaked in a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United as well as the sun's rays - and even saw one of their own sent off.
It now appears game over for David Moyes' Black Cats in avoiding the dreaded drop in the Premier League.
They are ten points from safety with seven games left, having won only five games all season.

Their cause was not helped by Sebastian Larsson shown a straight red card for a mis-timed tackle on United midfielder Ander Herrera.
However, the supporters, who travelled in from Lund in Sweden, tried to make the best of their appearance at the Stadium of Light.
They were pictured in the crowd holding huge banners, one of which was even in honour of their "hero" Larsson.
But he clearly didn't read the script as he made his way down the tunnel after just 43 minutes.
The Swedish supporters have followed the Black Cats since 1973, when they beat Leeds United in the FA Cup final, and it was their first trip to watch the side at the home stadium.
They had been to the stadium before however, just not for foot ball as they watched a Beyonce gig.
One of the fans, Peter Csirmaz, told the : “We decided to come and see a Premier League game after a top notch day at the Stadium of Light last summer.
“We made good friends with supporters David and Allison Newham from Advanced IFA Ltd who have a box on matchdays at the Stadium of Light and they have helped arrange our trip.
“Watching Swedish footballers around Europe have always been a favourite past time for all of us, so seeing two prolific players like Seb and Zlatan will make the trip even more interesting.”
They may have left somewhat underwhelmed after the 3-0 reverse that sees Sunderland expecting Championship football come August.
