Franck Ribery and Robben both get on the scoresheet as league leaders close in on title

ATTACKING trio Franck Ribery, Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben were all on the scoresheet as Bayern Munich put four past Dortmund.

But Bayern were comfortable throughout as their unbeaten record at home means they are now 10 points clear at the top.

It took just three minutes for the home side to open the scoring through Ribery.

Philip Lahm produced a well worked cross down the right and the Frenchman lashed the ball first time past the keeper who may feel he could have done better.

Six minutes later and the advantage was doubled.

Lewandowski lined up a free-kick and curled it around the wall as Bayern threatened to run riot against their injury-hit rivals.

But in a whirlwind start, Arturo Vidal's shoddy clearance fell to the feet of Guerreiro who hammered the ball first time into the top corner.

Robben could have had a hat-trick in the first half but he finally had his goal in the opening minutes of the second period.

A trademark strike by the Dutchman, he cut inside and curled a beauty into the far corner to restore Bayern's two-goal advantage.

With an eye on Real Madrid midweek, Bayern took their foot off the gas as they remained in complete control of the match.

Any hopes of a comeback were crushed when Lewandowski was hauled down by keeper Roman Burki in the box.

The referee showed no hesitation in pointing to the spot and the Pole was calm and collected as he picked out the bottom corner.

Bayern didn't have to get out of second gear for the last 20 minutes of the game and next up they face Cristiano Ronaldo's Madrid whilst Dortmund take on Monaco.
