Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has state of the art £25,000 football pitch built in his back garden
Leicester star has hit form at just the right time with seven goals in his last eight matches
JAMIE VARDY'S upturn in form could be attributed to his new £25,000 investment in his back garden.
The Leicester ace has had a new state of the art football pitch built so he can have a kick around with his kids.
Vardy struggled for form during the first half of the campaign having scored in just three league games until the end of February.
But the England striker has hit the same form that helped guide the Foxes to Premier League glory with seven goals in his last eight matches.
And it could be down to the 30-year-old's decision to swap his tennis court for the impressive astro turf.
His wife, Rebekah Vardy, took to Instagram to post videos of her hubby playing with their kids on the pitch based at their £2.5million home.
Alongside the video she wrote the caption: "Practice makes perfect. #eatsleepbreathfootball."

Meanwhile Leicester will be hoping they have landed the 'new Jamie Vardy' after signing hotshot Josh Gordon.
Like Vardy, Gordon arrives from non-league football having netted 11 times this season with Stafford Rangers.
The player himself announced the move on Facebook, saying: “I am delighted to finally announce that I have officially signed for the English champions Leicester City.
"I’m looking forward to the beginning of this new chapter in my life, the hard work starts now.”
