Manchester United legend Bryan Robson urges Jose Mourinho to make his move for unsettled Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez
Former Old Trafford No7 would love to see the Chilean forward join United in the summer window and take his old jersey
MANCHESTER UNITED legend Bryan Robson has urged Jose Mourinho to make a move for unsettled Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean forward, 29, has endured a tough season at the Gunners, famously falling out with boss Arsene Wenger - as well as having a string of public tantrums.
With Arsenal all but certain to lose their star striker in the summer, former United star Robson has suggested Sanchez would be a good signing for the Old Trafford club.
Speaking to , Robson - a former No7 at United - said: “I know that Sanchez seems to be a bit unsettled at Arsenal.
"He wears No7 at Arsenal. I wouldn’t mind seeing Sanchez come in wearing the No7 for Manchester United.”
Sanchez is currently a target for a host of European giants, with Premier League leaders Chelsea arguably the favourites at this stage.
However, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are expected to go toe-to-toe with Antonio Conte's Blues to land the wantaway forward.
Meanwhile, Robson also had his say on the much-maligned Paul Pogba... claiming the Frenchman is a future club captain.
He added: “Mourinho will make that decision regarding who’s captain, but once Paul Pogba is settled into the club again, gets used to the Premier League again, as long as he keeps improving, I think he’s captain material.
“I think Paul works really hard at his game. I think he wants to be one of best, if not the best midfielder in the world.
"So he’ll keep working at it, keep improving and become a real bright player for Manchester United.”
