England midfielder has attracted interest from West Ham and Bournemouth after spending season on loan at Vitality Stadium
ARSENAL are set to finally begin talks with Jack Wilshere over his future, according to reports.
SunSport revealed the England midfielder has already been offered a new deal by Arsene Wenger.
But Wilshere, 25, is not convinced he will get enough game time at the Emirates and is considering leaving the club.
According to the , Wilshere will recommence contract negotiations with the Gunners this week.
He has spent the season on loan at Bournemouth and Arsenal fear losing Wilshere - whose current deal expires in 2018 - on a free unless fresh terms are agreed.
Wilshere's talks will coincide with both Kieran Gibbs, 27, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, whose contracts are up next year.
While the centre-mid has avoided injury at the Vitality Stadium, he no longer commands a starting place under Eddie Howe.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger amazingly admitted he had no regrets about allowing the player to leave on loan despite being hit with an injury crisis in February.
West Ham's plans of signing Wilshere for around £30million this summer may have kickstarted the Gunners into action.
Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil, 28, revealed he is set to begin fresh talks with Arsenal "soon".
But Alexis Sanchez, also 28, looks set to leave the club this summer.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have both reportedly begun negotiations with the Chile ace.
