The Dutch have promoted U21 boss Fred Grim while a permanent successor to Danny Blind is found.

He is likely to be looking for a response after the team lost to Bulgaria to leave their World Cup hopes in tatters.

He could well take Danny De Ligt out of the spotlight. The 17-year-old endured a woeful debut at fault for both of Bulgaria's goals.
