Philippe Coutinho reveals joy at playing with Neymar just days after Barca ace told him to quit Liverpool

PHILIPPE COUTINHO has spoken of his admiration for Brazil team-mate Neymar.

It comes just days after the Barcelona star told reporters he wants Coutinho to quit Liverpool and join him at the Nou Camp.

And whilst Neymar described Coutinho as a 'total fit' at Barcelona, the Reds ace has described how easy it is to play alongside his international compatriot.

Speaking ahead of Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Paraguay, Coutinho said: "Look, Neymar is outstanding as we can all see.

"He is a player that decides key games, a guy fundamental on our team.

"We have been together for a long time, since we played together at youth level. Playing next to him is easy, he can change the game easily.

"We give the ball to him and he solves the problem.";

And Coutinho believes the manager, Tite, is doing a great job with the squad.

He added: "Obviously everyone is following Tite's work - he is doing a great job. So this just makes us more confident.

"As you saw in the stadium, there was a lot of positive energy. So it is really good for us."
