Interest is sure to be high, with top-quality English players hard to come by in today’s market.

Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe is also wanted by Arsene Wenger

Lyon ace Alexande Lacazette and Monaco prodigy Kylian Mbappe are wanted to reinforce the attack, with Borussia Dortmund favourite Marco Reus and Celtic hitman Moussa Dembele also on a shortlist.

Stoke shot-stopper Jack Butland, Sunderland youngster Jordan Pickford and Manchester City outcast Joe Hart could arrive to compete with Petr Cech for a place between the sticks.

Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Valencia whizz Jose Gaya are being eyed at left-back, with Everton playmaker Ross Barkley already penned in as Arsenal’s new No.10.
