Bayern trying to sign France international for bargain £18m but Juventus would prefer to sell abroad for a much bigger fee

CHELSEA and Manchester City have reportedly lodged £43million bids for Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman.

The talented forward is nearing the end of a two-year loan spell from Juventus, meaning that Chelsea and City are in discussions with the Italians rather than Bayern.

But Juventus know they can rake in a lot more from elsewhere and claim they are ready to discuss numbers with Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola.

Coman can play in a variety of positions ranging from the wing to a central forward.

But with Diego Costa currently occupying the striker’s position at Stamford Bridge, Coman would most likely fit in as one of the options to play in behind him.

While at City, the France international would be a ready-made replacement for Jesus Navas, who looks set to leave the Etihad.

Guardiola also knows Coman well, having signed him on loan for Bayern back in 2015.

Money is no object for those behinds the scenes at City and they are sure to back their manager if he sees Coman as the right man to drive the club towards glory.
