Arsenal are ready to act on snapping up Leicester City’s 14-year-old whizkid Terell Pennant, but know they face competition from Manchester United

ARSENAL face competition from Manchester United in their pursuit to snap up Leicester City propsect Terell Pennant.
The 14-year-old is regarded to be amongst the best young talents in the country, and the Gunners are poised to pry away the striker to North London.
Pennant has been likened to Arsenal's all-time top scorer - Thierry Henry, and he could be set to leave the Foxes, who are desperate to keep hold of him.

Despite being two years younger, Pennant is a regular star for the under-16 side, and recently bagged himself a brace against Southampton on Saturday, with Gunners scouts in attendance.
It is believed an offer is in the pipeline, which would be based on first team appearances, the number of goals he would go on to score and any involvement with the senior national side in the future.

Leicester are resigned to losing the youngster as his current deal expires at the end of the season, which has caught the attention of the Red Devils.
Capable of being deployed down the flanks or through the middle, big things are expected of Pennant at such a young age.
Whoever manager to acquire the services of the teenager may also end up signing his younger brother Kian, who himself is highly regarded and could join his brother in a package deal.
