Manchester City plotting world domination as owners prepare to launch bids to takeover a host of clubs around the globe

MANCHESTER CITY are putting the wheels in motion on an attempt to takeover the footballing world.
The Premier League giants' owners can already boast New York City FC and Melbourne City, as well as owning shares in Yokohama F. Marinos.
However, City Football Group are now targeting a host of other clubs around the world, with many suggesting a Chinese Super League side is top of the agenda.

CFG's chief commercial officer Tom Glick said: "The important thing for us is to add the right clubs in the right cities, in the right leagues. We are open to this.
"There are a number of leagues and countries that are quite interesting. It is certainly something we are focused on.
"We are equally focused on making sure each of our current clubs - Manchester, New York, Melbourne, Yokohama are performing at their highest level."
Glick was talking at an event to announce Nexen Tire will be the club's new kit sponsor from the 2017-18 season.
The Korean tire company have been a partner to the Premier League giants since 2015.
Glick added: "We feel fortunate that Nexen Tire not only want to continue with us but want to intensify and elevate their investment and involvement.
"We have a great relationship with them.
"This is an exciting company on a mission and I think it mirrors the trajectory and ambition of Manchester City and City Football Group."
