ANTONIO CONTE will demand more control over transfers, according to reports.

Chelsea may sit ten points clear at the top and on course to win the Premier League for a fifth time.

But, Conte has been unhappy with the club’s dealings on the transfer market — with regards to both incomings and outgoings.

And report the Italian wants alterations to the Blues’ policy of buying and selling.

In the summer, Chelsea brought in five players, not all of which were specifically requested by the manager.

Conte made sure the Blues signed N’Golo Kante ahead of all other interested parties, while he also sought out left wing-back, Marcos Alonso, from Fiorentina.

However, it is clear Michy Batshuayi was not his preferred choice in attack as the Belgian has barely featured this term — and may have just been bought to stop him going elsewhere.

And, despite his incredible turnaround since making his return to Stamford Bridge, it was commonly reported that the signing of David Luiz was sprung upon him from above.

Goalkeeper, Eduardo, also joined as third choice from Dinamo Zagreb.

Meanwhile, there was even more frustration in the January transfer window, as Chelsea lost three first team players in Branislav Ivanovic, John Obi Mikel and Oscar, without signing replacements.

It is reported that the sales were justified with the return of loanees, Nathan Ake, Kenedy and Charly Musonda.

However, only Ake and Kenedy have played since coming back to Stamford Bridge — and their appearances were restricted to the FA Cup.
