LUKE SHAW, Anthony Martial and Bastian Schweinsteiger were sent to train on their own as Manchester United finished their preparations for the Europa League clash with FC Rostov.
United boss Jose Mourinho worked closely with his players as they geared up for tomorrow's match at Old Trafford that sees a quarter-final place up for grabs.
German star Schweinsteiger has been a fringe player for Mourinho - but it is the sight of Shaw and Martial also away from the first team group that has raised eyebrows.

Earlier today Mourinho had insisted Martial would miss the clash with the Russian side through injury - after also being absent for the FA Cup defeat at Chelsea.
Mourinho said: "He is not in my thoughts."
But the French striker was fit enough to trot out for training just hours later, only nowhere near the main first team group.
Joining him was left-back Shaw who has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Mourinho.
The England defender has been criticised by his manager in the past over his fitness levels and has seen the likes of Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind all start ahead of him.
All three look a long way from the thoughts of Mourinho amid mounting speculation they could all be on their way out of the club.
Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic led the smiles in the squad unit that was training as they look to build on last week's 1-1 first leg draw.
But Wayne Rooney will miss out on the match after failing to recover from the knee injury that ruled him out at Chelsea.

Talking about Rooney, Mourinho said: "He's injured.
"It was some kick in his knee area so he can't even come out to the pitch. He stays inside with the medical department."
Rooney is yet to feature in a Premier League win with Manchester United this year, with his last league victory coming away to West Brom in December.
Mourinho was also moved to defend under-fire world record signing Pogba, blasting the pundits who are jealous of the £89million man.
"It is not his fault that some pundits are in real trouble while Paul is a multi-millionaire," Mourinho said.
"I feel that the world is losing values and I am scared about the level of envy coming in. It is not Paul's fault that he gets 10 times the money some players did in the past."
