EMRE CAN rescued three points for Liverpool with a sweet strike that completed their comeback.
Ashley Barnes gave the visitors a shock lead before Georginio Wijnaldum levelled seconds before half time. And Can then came up with the goods to crush the Clarets.
The opener on seven minutes came when Matt Lowton whipped in a brilliant ball that slashed through the flat Kop defence before Barnes pounced at the back stick.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were miles off the pace before Divock Origi drifted out wide and drove in a cross that baffled every one apart from Wijnaldum who poked home instinctively.
And then Can – who's performance had been slated by Sky commentator Gary Neville –popped up with a long-range strike from nowhere.
Facts, stats, goals and lols:
Burnley were after their first league double over Liverpool since 1930, after their shock 2-0 win in August, and they got the perfect start.
Ashley Barnes’ opener after just seven minutes was Burnley’s first goal at Anfield since 1975. It might take them another 42 years to get such an easy chance thanks to the flop Kop defending.
Gary Neville still doesn’t like Liverpool and their players much. When Emre Can was beaten in an early tackle the Sky star accused him of bottling out of the challenge.
Liverpool’s decision making was poor in the first half. Short corners were fruitless and the free-kick James Milner nudged for Georginio Wijnaldum to larrup over was laughable.
Burnley stifled the home side so well in the first half that Klopp’s men were reduced to long balls and crosses that the Clarets defence gobbled up greedily until the equaliser.
Divock Origi looked out of position dragged out down the left wing but he fired the ball in and it bounced perfectly for Wijnaldum to stab home.
Neville had to change his tune - after slating Can all game - when the Germany international rifled his side into the lead.
Liverpool had only two shots in this home fixture against the hugely impressive Premier League minnows – luckily they both went straight in.
The three crucial points, impressively accrued after going a goal down, did nothing for Liverpool’s league position. The Reds started the day fourth and stayed there.
Klopp sent 17-year-old striker Ben Woodburn on as a late sub. The Welsh prospect was born in 1999.
Liverpool midfielder Georgino Wijnaldum said: "It was difficult in the beginning especially because they scored a goal in the first few minutes, but we just tried to fight and do everything to win the game.
“We were better in the second half but we were also a bit lucky; previous games we played like this we lost, but then we didn't have the fighting spirit.
“At this stage of the season it's better to collect points no matter how.
“We did it before against the bigger teams and we will try to do it again."
Burnley striker Ashley Barnes said: “To come away with a loss is disappointing because we were in control in the first half, they didn’t create much.
“Conceding on half-time was a bug-bear but our performance was good.
“Our gameplan worked, but unfortunately we’ve come away with a loss.
“We need to take the positives and the negatives what to work on in the week. We will dust ourselves down and go again.”
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can said: “It was a really important win and we are happy to get the three points.
“Second half we played better but they were good in the air and were dangerous.
“I don't score too much so it is good but it's the three points that matter”.
