ALEXIS SANCHEZ gifted Bayern Munich a second goal on his return to the side – before waving to fans and appearing to LAUGH when substituted.

The Chilean was returning to the starting lineup after making up with boss Arsene Wenger, but it was not the best of nights for the striker in the 5-1 defeat.

It was a quiet night until then for the Gunners’ key man, but on the 68th minute with the score at 1-1, he dawdled too close to goal before being pick-pocketed by Arjen Robben.

The Dutchman made no mistake by slotting it home, leaving a despondent Sanchez to reflect on what he had done as Bayern extended their aggregate lead.

Douglas Costa and a double from Arturo Vidal came in quick succession – and Sanchez appeared to LAUGH while sitting on the subs bench talking to Petr Cech.

Sanchez looks despondent as his Arsenal side crumble again

It was another drubbing for sorry Arsenal, taking the aggregate score to a whopping 10-2, and Sanchez looks like he is heading for the exit this summer after a training ground bust-up this week.

The score was sickening for Wenger and there were boos at the final whistle after the heaviest ever defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
