Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic to serve three-match suspension after admitting FA’s charge of violent conduct
Swede star will definitely miss some game-time after pleading guilty to elbowing Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings on Saturday
MANCHESTER UNITED'S Zlatan Ibrahimovic will definitely serve a suspension after admitting charge of violent conduct.
The Football Association confirmed the news in a statement after he pleaded guilty to elbowing Bournemouth's Tyrone Mings on Saturday.
The FA said: "Zlatan Ibrahimovic will serve a three-match suspension with immediate effect after he admitted an FA charge of violent conduct and accepted the standard penalty.

"It follows an incident in or around the 44th minute of the game between Manchester United and AFC Bournemouth on Saturday (4 March 2017).
"The misconduct was not seen by the match officials at the time but caught on video."
Ibrahimovic was charged by the FA on Monday after launching a vicious elbow on Mings after the Cherries left-back caught the striker with a boot to the head.
Both players escaped punishment during a now-infamous refereeing performance by Kevin Friend.
Ibrahimovic had since pleaded his innocence by saying: “He jumped into my elbow”.
But that excuse has failed to wash with the FA who decided they had no option but to punish the Swede star.
He will now miss United’s FA Cup sixth round clash against Chelsea as well as Premier League fixtures against Middlesbrough and West Brom.
Mings faces a staggering SIX-game ban for stamping on Ibrahimovic after the FA said the normal sentence would be 'clearly insufficient'.
