Goalkeeper Bruno Fernandes ‘has offers from clubs’ despite admitting ordering the killing of girlfriend and feeding her body to dogs

Former Barcelona target's past appears to have no influence on sides wanting him between the sticks, report claims

A GOALKEEPER convicted of ordering the killing of his girlfriend whose body was cut up and fed to dogs has reportedly had offers from clubs after being released from prison.

Bruno Fernandes de Souza was initially  after the 2010 murder.

Prosecutors claimed she was killed after demanding Bruno pay child maintenance for their baby son.

But he was released last month after serving almost seven years behind bars.

He had previously been linked with a move to Barcelona thanks to promising spells with Corinthians and Flamengo.

And he was hotly tipped to play for Brazil in the last World Cup.

Bruno's football career appeared over, however, when he was also found guilty of hiding the body of Eliza Samudio and kidnapping their kid in 2010.

He admitted knowing she had been strangled and her remains had been fed to rottweilers, but denied ordering the killing.

And now his agent, Lucio Veloso Coutinho, says that clubs are willing to let him play again, according to .

Coutinho said: "Bruno is still looking at other offers. Almost ten clubs have already shown an interest.

"We cannot mention them all now for contractual reasons.

"In no more than ten days he should reveal his new club."

One club reportedly involved, Bangu, distanced themselves from links to Bruno.

A post on the club's official Twitter account read: "Bangu is unaware of any offer made to Bruno, as reported in the press."
