Defiant Arsene Wenger wants to stay at Arsenal and ‘reinvent’ himself like all great managers do
Gunners chief said his desire to remain at the Emirates is unchanged but that he plans to completely alter how he works
ARSENE WENGER has pledged to "reinvent" himself like all great managers do - while remaining in charge of Arsenal.
The Emirates chief turned down the chance to become football's highest-paid manager by moving to the Chinese Super League.
And he has repeated his commitment to extend his 20-year tenure at Arsenal despite his contract soon coming to an end.
Part of that desire lies in the fact that Wenger believes he can get "to the next level" as a manager.
And the 67 year old sees age as no barrier.
Some Arsenal fans may disagree, especially as the Gunners look set to exit the Champions League at the last-16 stage for the seventh year in a row.
