A ROMANTIC footballer’s gesture of getting his wife’s face tattooed on his body backfired.
Serbian defender Uros Vitas posted a picture to Instagram showing the lengths he went to for his beautiful wife Andrijana.
He gushed: “You were you and I was me. We were two individuals for our time.

Vitas, 24, who plays for Belgian club Mechelen, completed the post with a picture of his new inking.
While Snezana may appreciate the touching gesture, she might not be thrilled with the finished piece.
Vitas began his career at Serbian club Rad before moving to Gent in 2014.
He left the Belgian side after one season for rivals Mechelen.
