A SPANISH side were forced into the bizarre move of playing an official league match in plain, white t-shirts with numbers crudely scrawled on the back in pen.
Cacerano in Group 14 of the Tercera Division were taking on Jerez away in Saturday's clash when the referee noticed something odd.
Hosts Jerez were wearing their green and black striped jersey for the league game, with Cacerano bringing their black away strip.

However, ref Gonzalez Umbert wasn't convinced the difference in the two kits was sufficient enough and ordered them to change.
With a green home strip the only other option, Cacerano had to think outside of the box... and quickly.
You know what they say - third time lucky...
The game turned out to be a commentator's worst nightmare as the scribbles on the players' backs were far too faint to make out from afar.
But it mattered not for Cacerano, who won their fourth game in a row to take the match 3-1 at the Estadio Manuel Calzado Galvan.
