BORUSSIA DORTMUND'S famous yellow wall was left empty today as punishment for crowd trouble... but it didn't stop them winning 3-0.
The Bundesliga side were hit with an £85,000 fine and had to close their famously intimidating "Yellow Wall" for their forthcoming game against Wolfsburg.

It came after crowd trouble in their recent match against RB Leipzig, whose fans were attacked on their way to the Westfalenstadion.
A total of 28 people were arrested after stones were thrown at the visiting Leipzig supporter before the 1-0 win on February 4 - while banners were unfurled criticising the Red Bull-owned club.
Many across the Bundesliga are unhappy with Leipzig's rise to the top of the league and their controversial and big money ownership, which goes against traditional fan culture in German football.

Dortmund accepted the punishment and close their famous South Stand today, which holds 25,000 and is the largest free-standing grandstand in Europe.
But it did not seem to make that much of a difference, as Dortmund returned to winning ways with a comfortable victory after two straight losses.
Thomas Tuchel's side were in desperate need of a win after losing to bottom side Darmstadt last weekend - and then going down 1-0 to Benfica in the Champions League this week.
A Jeffrey Bruma own goal opened the scoring for the hosts, before Lukasz Piszczek and Ousmane Dembele netted in the second half to seal the win and ease the pressure on Arsenal target Tuchel.
