Diego Maradona’s ‘hotel room raided in Madrid after woman accused him of assaulting her as Argentine ace is questioned by cops’
DIEGO MARADONA’S Madrid hotel room was raided after he was accused of assaulting his partner.
Police came to the hotel after getting a call from the manager at 8:20am local time, as Maradona was quizzed by officers.
According to various Spanish sources, his girlfriend Rocio Oliva has not filed a complaint after the incident occurred at the five-star Eurostar Suites Mirasierra in the north of the city.

Oliva posted pictures on her Instagram page yesterday of the pair enjoying a jacuzzi dip in the Spanish capital.
Maradona was also accused of hitting a journalist after landing in Madrid.
The 56-year-old is in the city to support former club Napoli for their crunch Champions League tie with Real Madrid this evening.
And it appears there is no love lost for the World Cup winner in Spain’s capital, after spending some of the best years of his career at Real’s fierce rivals Barcelona.
Spanish media claim that doctors arrived at the scene in the hotel room and neither Maradona nor Olivia were injured and made no complaint.
Police stayed a while longer but left after questioning the pair.
It was later claimed that Oliva was not being attacked but there was shouting heard coming from the couple’s room.
Maradona is understood to have had an on-off relationship with his current girlfriend.
The pair have courted controversy in the past, with the Argentina legend accusing her of stealing more than £250,000 in watches before he withdrew the complaint.
