ALEXIS SANCHEZ bagged his sixteenth and seventeenth goals of the season as Arsenal squeezed past Hull City at the Emirates.
After a turbulent seven days in north London, regardless of the performance, it was a welcome three points for Arsenal who keep the gap between themselves and the chasers to at least four points.
Here are five things SunSport learnt as the Gunners get back to winning ways after two damaging defeats.
Sanchez hands on at the Emirates
Alexis Sanchez bagged himself a brace as Hull put on a brave display at the Emirates.
The Chilean is still undecided about his long term future, with Arsenal desperate for Sanchez to pen a new deal.
Sanchez has scored four goals against Hull this season, taking his tally to 17 and top of the goal scoring charts ahead of the Saturday 3pm kick offs.
Harry's Game
The 23-year-old Yorkshireman is looking every inch a potential England centre back of the future as he put in another fine display at the Emirates.
Theo Walcott for some reason decided to square up to the big defender, but Maguire is clearly no respecter of reputations and told Walcott where to go.
The defender has been attracting interest from the Premier League big boys this season and Hull will do very well to hold on to the former Sheffield United man at this rate.
Oh no Ozil
The German was non existent in the defeats to Watford and Chelsea, and again today failed to take control of a game Arsenal needed to win.
The groans from the Emirates faithful said it all when Ozil's tricks didn't come off or he hesitated and took too long to make a decisive pass.
Ozil will decide if he signs a new deal at the club when Wenger's future is resolved, but more nothing performances like today and it will be Arsenal, not Ozil who will be deciding his long term future
Loan Ranger
Oumar Niasse was so out in the cold at Everton under Ronald Koeman, the kit man was ahead of him in the pecking order for a game upfront.
The loan move to Hull has revitalised his career in the Premier League, he looked sharp, hungry and with a point to prove and Tigers boss Marco Silva looks to be channelling that energy in a positive way.
Niasse lead the Hull line well and could have scored two on another day, but forced two good saves out of Arsenal keeper Petr Cech.
Mark of the man
A few eyebrows were raised and others thought 'Oh him' as Liverpool forgotten man Lazar Markovic joined Hull on loan in January.
The 22-year-old Serbian signed by Brendan Rodgers for £20million in 2014 struggled to come to terms with life at Anfield.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could do well to keep an eye out for Markovic who was impressive again for Hull, showing plenty of pace and energy down the right and causing Kieran Gibbs plenty of problems all afternoon.
