Gunners legend hit back after business mogul told him he should have kept his conversation with the Frenchman private

IAN WRIGHT furiously called ex-Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan "tango man" after he accused him of betraying Arsene Wenger's trust.

SunSport columnist Wrighty felt a backlash after sensationally claiming he believes Wenger will quit Arsenal at the end of the season.

But Wright felt a social media backlash for his interview.

Ex-Palace chief Jordan tweeted: "There that should thrill all the Wenger out campaign, good job @IanWright Kept that private convo to himself or there could be a media feast [sic]"

To which Wright responded: "What the f*** you talking about keeping that private conversation to himself! We were in a room full of people tango man!"

One user replied: "Can't call someone tango man. That's racist @IanWright"

Wright then suggested: "What about 'orange ****?"

Business mogul Jordan hit back, branding the former England striker "Mr Magoo," "gormless," and "town crier".

Wright was also furious that some fans believe his comments implied Wenger was definitely retiring at the end of THIS season.

The Arsenal legend explained: "Like my quote said 'he never said to me he was leaving'. I got the impression! 4 ****s sake [sic]"

Wright had revealed: "I was with the boss last night and I get the impression that I think that’s it.

"I genuinely believe, I was with him for a few hours last night and we are talking and obviously he did not say he was leaving at the end of the season.

"But I get the impression from even looking at him, that’s it, I think that’s it.

"He actually mentioned while we were talking last night, that it’s coming to the end and I have never heard him say that."

Wenger, 67, has come under fire from a section of hostile fans.

One supporter showed an anti-Wenger banner during the Gunners’ 3-1 drubbing at Chelsea last weekend.

The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to sign a new deal at the Emirates.
