Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel denies rumours he is in line to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal

THOMAS TUCHEL insists he is happy at Borussia Dortmund after reports linked him with a move to Arsenal.

The German is one of several managers around Europe that have been reported to be in line to take over from Arsene Wenger if he leaves.

Wenger's contract expires at the end of the season but Tuchel has denied he has any knowledge of the Gunners interest in him and that he is happy at Dortmund.

Tuchel said: "You know more than me. I can't say anything about that because I don't know anything about it.

"I'm on a contract with Dortmund and I'm happy here."

Under-fire Wenger's future has been placed in doubt in recent weeks after to losses in a row to Watford and Chelsea.

And Gunners legend Ian Wright believes the Frenchman will leave the club after speaking to him on Thursday evening.

But former Mainz boss Tuchel has become the second manager in a week to deny knowledge of Arsenal's interest.

Juventus boss Max Allegri would not confirm or deny reports that Gunners chiefs had lined him up as a possible replacement.

Wenger has faced a fan backlash after their recent dip in form that has seen them fall 12 points behind Prem leaders Chelsea.

And the former Monaco boss called for unity as they take on a resurgent Hull team in the early kick-off on Saturday.
