GABRIEL JESUS has made an immediate impact since his arrival at Manchester City.

The Brazilian wonderkid, 19, has played just four games, but in that time has scored three times - including a game-winning double against Swansea, tallied two assists and even taken Sergio Aguero's starting spot... no mean feat, indeed.

A whole host of rumours begun circling on social media, with no one quite sure what to believe.

One of the theories doing the rounds on social media was that Jesus was having a dig at his ex-girlfriend.

The story went that the youngster's former flame ignored his calls while he was at Palmeiras, but messaged him when he arrived Manchester City.

However, the Brazilian has finally admitted all, really sending a loving message to his mum.

In an Instagram post, Jesus posted a picture of the now-famous celebration, captioned: "Hello Mum. I love you."

Jesus linked up with City in January - having agreed a deal last summer - following just two seasons in the Brazilian top flight with Palmeiras, where he netted 28 goals in 83 appearances.
