Arsenal transfer news: Jack Wilshere faces crisis over future as ‘Bournemouth unlikely to buy him and Gunners unable to ensure first-team football’

JACK WILSHERE faces a crisis over his future, according to reports.
Loan club Bournemouth are unlikely to try and sign him permanently at the end of the campaign and his chances of regular football at Arsenal are not guaranteed.
The England international, 25, is on a season-long loan at the Cherries and will only have 12 months of his contract remaining at the Emirates once he returns.

Wilshere, who's fitness has been a problem throughout his career, has played 19 Premier League games under Eddie Howe this term.
And his new team-mates are doing their best to persuade him to join on a permanent deal.
But, according to , Bournemouth will NOT make a record bid to try and buy him outright.
Wilshere has failed to score yet and has just two assists to his name.
Howe knows Arsenal would hold out for more than the £15million Bournemouth paid for record signing Jordon Ibe.
Arsene Wenger claimed in November Wilshere would be offered a new deal.

But Arsenal's wealth of midfield talent means the on-loan Gunners ace would not be guaranteed a place in the team.
Wilshere has made it clear he wants first-team football, and so could be dissuaded from signing a new deal.
Although contract stand-offs at the Emirates could allow for that opportunity.
Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are yet to agree a new deals, while Wenger himself still has not signed an extension.
Should Ozil leave, Wilshere's favoured No10 position would be up for grabs again.
A number of other Premier League clubs - including Manchester City and Everton - have been linked with the midfielder.
And AC Milan, who almost landed him last summer, are still interested.
