Marouane Fellaini: Manchester United star shows off his new haircut at training but hasn’t changed his afro AT ALL

Belgian went for the big chop earlier this week but appears to have barely touched his world-famous hair style

MAROUANE FELLAINI showed off the effects of his new haircut at training today, but some things never change.

The Belgian’s classic afro remained perfectly intact despite speculation it was set to be given the chop.

Fellaini was pictured sitting in the barber’s chair yesterday with his hair ready to be trimmed.

And that’s all that’s been done to it, with the iconic afro only slightly shortened and shaped while keeping its thickness and essence.

Fellaini’s barnet was certainly the centre of attention at Carrington, with many players bemused by its new look.

But the 29-year-old will be hoping it gives him an extra edge in the air when Watford visit Old Trafford on Saturday.

United were on the receiving end of a shock 3-1 defeat at Vicarage Road in September.
