LEADERS in the dressing room are worth their weight in gold - especially if you hear what Marcus Rashford has to say.

Ibra, 35, has reportedly been picking up the Red Devils players when they have been down in the dumps about results.

United are unbeaten in their last 15 Premier League games, since losing 4-0 to Chelsea on October 23.

But seven of those results have been draws - some of them frustrating ties at Old Trafford, including against Arsenal, Burnley, Stoke and Hull, all of which United will feel they should have won.

And Rashford, 19, believes maverick Swede Ibrahimovic is bringing some of his mental steel to the United dressing room as they bid to break into the top four.

He said: "I think it's the way his mentality works. That is probably the biggest thing, not only for the young players but other players can take that from him as well.

"In fact, that is definitely the main thing. It's good for the dressing room. Sometimes, if we're down, he can pick us back up and, when we're up, he keeps up.

"Bringing in that type of player, it has been key."

United were certainly looking up as they prepared for this weekend's visit of Watford to Old Trafford.

They were in top form last Sunday, putting Leicester to the sword with a 3-0 win at the King Power Stadium.

The Hornets beat United 3-1 in a controversial game at Vicarage Road earlier in the season and the home side will be out for revenge against a team that shocked Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates nine days ago.
