Gabriel Jesus or Marcus Rashford, which Manchester-based wonderkid would you build your Premier League team around?

Does the Brazilian City striker get your vote, or will United's Englishman get the nod? We look at all the important stats

GABRIEL JESUS was Manchester City's saviour as Pep Guardiola's men left it very late to beat relegation-battling Swansea at the Etihad on Sunday.

After showing great striking instinct - despite being just 19-years-old - to put the hosts into the lead.

With three goals in two assists in his opening four games, as well as usurping Sergio Aguero's spot in the starting XI - no mean feat, indeed - his blistering start in the top flight has been likened to that of Marcus Rashford in 2015-16.

However, if you could pick just one of the Manchester-based wonderkids, which would it be?

For starters, both players got off to goal-laden starts in the top flight, with Rashford notching four - including a brace on his debut in the Europa League against FC Midtjylland - to Jesus' three.

Since that day, Rashford has turned out an impressive 48 times for Jose Mourinho's team under the Special One and Louis van Gaal before him.

In those games, he's netted 14 times as well as racking up four assists.

Jesus' comparatively tiny sample size of four games has seen him find the back of the net three times, while assisting twice more.

Despite netting 11 fewer strikes, Jesus has scored a goal every 92.7 minutes - to Rashford's 220.6 minutes.

It's a similar story on the assist front, with the Brazilian finding a team-mate for a goal every 139 minutes, to Rash's 772.3 minutes.

On the international front, Rashford has netted one goal - on his debut against Australia - from his six caps, while netting a hat-trick in his sole Under-21s game.

Jesus on the other hand also has six full international caps under his belt, notching FOUR times.

He also has five goals in 11 appearances for the Samba Boys' Under-23s side.

But which is better? Who would you plump for if you could have just one in your side? Have your say below...
