In fact, it happens to the best of them, with a host of other big-name bosses tearing their bottoms.

Here, we take a look at a few others to ruin their suits during a particularly heated match...

PEP GUARDIOLA

LAST season, during Bayern Munich's 6-1 Champions League thrashing of Porto, Pep had a wardrobe malfunction of his own.

During an exciting night at the Allianz Arena - where the hosts were 5-0 up at half-time - Guardiola managed to tear the upper-left leg of his trousers.

The now-Manchester City boss' underwear was on show for the rest of the match, later joking: "I'll have to buy new ones for the next match."

DAVID MOYES

STARTING a new job is a daunting task for anyone... and football managers are no exception.

So when you have that nightmare about turning up for your first day stark naked, just remember, it could be worse, you could be Moyes.

The now-Sunderland boss managed to rip a giant whole in the inseam of his trousers in his very FIRST game as Real Sociedad chief. Awkward.

JOSE MOURINHO

NEVER one to avoid the limelight, arguably the greatest trouser malfunction in football history goes to the Special One.

During the Champions League final of 2010 - when in charge of Inter Milan - Mourinho bent over to pick up a ball, with his trousers splitting down his backside, straight down the middle, exposing everything.

It served as enough of a distraction to Bayern Munich clearly as Jose and his Serie A side went on to win 2-0 at the Bernabeu.

ZINEDINE ZIDANE

FINALLY there's Real Madrid and France legend Zizou has not just ripped his trousers once, but twice...

First of all Zidane managed to tear his bottoms after enthusiastically celebrating a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick against Wolfsburg in April 2016.

Then, no more than two weeks later he was at it again - suffering a rather large wardrobe gaffe in the 0-0 draw with Manchester City.
