It wasn't only Henry who was shocked by the Arsenal's performance, Jamie Redknapp was also unimpressed by the performance.

"This happened time and time again and the frustration for Arsenal was unbelievable."

While the pundits ripped into the Gunners performance they had nothing but praise for Chelsea.

Graham Souness added: "Ver,y very effective, what you expect from this Chelsea team, they don’t have to dominate the ball to win football matches – that’s what champions do.

"Costa wasn’t at his best today so they do win games when they’re not bang at it.

"From Chelsea’s point of view [the first goal is] a super goal.

"Someone not doing his job at a vital, vital time, at this point in the game Arsenal were possibly shading it."

He had this to say on Arsene Wenger's team: "At the start of the game we expressed concern about Coquelin and Oxlade Chamberlain, there’s things you [Coquelin] need to be told as a central midfielder: you don’t flick it; you don’t turn on the ball."
