El Hadji Diouf to go into POLITICS as Liverpool flop eyes Senegalese parliament
Controversial forward says he has a 'passion' to help the people of his nation
EL Hadji Diouf has threatened to wreak havoc in his home country … by going into POLITICS.
The controversial ex-Liverpool flop, 36, figured in a series of spitting incidents and bust-ups throughout his stormy career.

Diouf, who retired in 2015, now plans to turn his back on management in favour of becoming an MP in his native Senegal.
He said: “My future is defined. In the next two years I will be joining politics, because I know from that point I can change a lot in football.
“I have a lot of passion for politics, and I have people in Senegal who are mentoring me. That is the future for me, because a lot of Senegalese people are able to listen to me.
“I took high-level coaching courses, but decided not to continue since I have better plans on things I want to do.
“But I am always available to advise my team [Senegal] whenever called upon.”
A £10million Liverpool buy from French club Lens in 2002, Diouf went on to play for Bolton, Sunderland, Blackburn, Rangers, Doncaster and Leeds before ending his career with Malaysian club Sabah.
Twice named African Footballer of the Year, he shone at the 2002 World Cup, and won 69 caps for the Teranga Lions.
