Bastian Schweinsteiger and wife Ana Ivanovic have a couple of new fans in Manchester United team-mate Chris Smalling and fiancee Sam Cooke’s dogs
The German international was on a stroll around Hale in Cheshire when Miley and Ruben gave them a special welcome
BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER and his wife Ana Ivanovic are used to being mobbed by fans - but they had a couple of new ones to contend with this afternoon.
And the two in question were none other than Schweinsteiger's team-mate Chris Smalling and partner Sam Cooke's DOGS.
The couple were enjoying a stroll around the Cheshire village of Hale before enjoying a spot of lunch when Smalling's pooches Ruben and Miley decided to introduce themselves.

Ruben in particular took a liking to former tennis star Ivanovic as he leapt up to her for a kiss. This amused Schweinsteiger, who showed no signs of the green eyed monster.

But Ivanovic was somewhat surprised as she recoiled backwards as the Hungarian Vizsla made its move.
Smalling's fiancee Stacey then appeared out of a vehicle to take the two animals for their afternoon walkies.
After enjoying a spot of lunch, Schweinsteiger then flew out of Manchester today - but he is staying at United.
The German World Cup winner was spotted in Terminal Three but he was not off to join a new club with Jose Mourinho just having given him his first start in over a year.

Schweinsteiger played and scored in the 4-0 FA Cup win over Wigan on Sunday.
After the game Mourinho said the player was now in his plans until the end of the season with Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis having left.
He has even put him into the Europa League squad for the knockout phase having not included in the group stages.
He had left Schweinsteiger training on his own rather than with the rest of the first team at the start of the season.
But he has been impressed with the former Bayern Munich star’s professionalism and reintegrated him into first team affairs.
Having played the full game on Sunday he has now been given a rest and was allowed to fly out of Manchester on a short break.
