On the 23-minute mark Ronaldo lost the ball and the Real Madrid faithful reacted by BOOING their idol.

The furious former Manchester United man in turn aimed insults at the fans, and was caught by Spanish TV cameras.

After a difficult start to the match, in which the visitors more than matched their illustrious hosts, Mateo Kovacic eventually opened the scoring on 38 minutes.

Second half goals from Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata finally put the gloss on the scoreline against the division’s fifth-placed side.
