JOSE MOURINHO has confirmed that the recent departures of Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay means he is ready to put his faith in Manchester United’s academy players.
Well, one in particular — Axel Tuanzebe.
The 19-year-old defender is regarded as one of the brightest products of the Red Devils’ youth academy in recent years.

And Mourinho insisted the sales of two senior players means Tuanzebe could soon get his chance, after he was pictured training with the first team.
He said: "We lost Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay, two players who didn't play many minutes or many matches for us.
“They were two players from the squad, so we need numbers and probably Axel is one of the boys that's in the Academy who is more close to playing with us.

"So we have brought him up to give him more experience, to make the first team more natural for him in case we need him to play in the upcoming matches and month, so he can be more adapted to us."
In pre-season, he was given game time, but has so far failed to make an appearances.
