Manchester United transfer news: Paul Pogba says United target Antoine Griezmann is his ‘brother’ and admits close friendship helps on the pitch
Griezmann is believed to be high on Jose Mourinho's wishlist of potential players to bring in to Old Trafford
PAUL POGBA has described Antoine Griezmann as his "brother" as rumours persist that the two could be Manchester United team-mates soon.
Pogba is still settling back at Old Trafford following his £89million move back from Juventus, while Griezmann is scoring goals for Atletico.
But with Jose Mourinho on the lookout more extra firepower to ease the burden on 35-year-old Ibrahimovic, the French striker has been linked with a move.

Speaking on French TV this morning, Pogba opened up about his close relationship with Griezmann, and highlighted that this can also help on the pitch too.
He said: "I always have good times when I'm with Grizou (Griezmann). He's my brother, we're always together.
"When you're feeling good away from the pitch it's easier for you on the pitch, and that's what's happening with the France team."
The pair are friends off the pitch and played central roles in helping France to the Euro 2016 final on home soil, with Griezmann finishing as the tournament top-scorer with six goals.
“I’m very proud of him. I know what he’s been through,” Pogba said recently in an interview with FIFA.
“When he arrived at Atletico Madrid the first year, he wasn’t playing all the time, he was on the bench. He talked to me, saying he was frustrated, that it was hard as he wasn’t playing.
“After that he kept working hard, and now he’s one of the three nominees for The Best award. I’m very happy for him, especially to see a French player doing so well.”
SunSport told you how the Old Trafford boss had begun talks to sign the £60million France striker this summer.
But Atletico's president Enrique Cerezo has said he will fight tooth and nail to keep the 25-year-old in Spain.
He said: “There are many offers. I don’t know what will come of Manchester United’s interest.
“What I can say though is that Griezmann will be an Atlético player for a long time.”
