PHILIPPE COUTINHO treated 15 of his friends and family to dinner at a plush Italian restaurant in Liverpool.

The Brazilian star, who celebrated his first start against Plymouth since returning from injury, headed to the swanky Italian il Forno in the city centre.

Arriving in his slick Aston Martin, Coutinho turned up to find his guests lined up outside the restaurant.

And his friends and family wouldn't have held back on the grub knowing that Coutinho pockets in the region of £75,000-a-week.

But Coutinho knows he could be set for a huge wage hike if Barcelona continue to mount their interest.

And he will be encouraged that Coutinho left the field unscathed after playing 65 minutes during the 1-0 FA Cup victory over Plymouth on Wednesday night.

Klopp is eager to get Coutinho back to full fitness after sitting on the sidelines for six weeks with an ankle injury.

The Reds entertain relegation-threatened Swansea in the early kick-off on Saturday.
