Newcastle fan travels 5,000 MILES from South Korea to watch the Toon in FA Cup replay and Championship clash

A NEWCASTLE United supporter has travelled an incredible 5,000miles from South Korea to see his team beat Birmingham City in the FA Cup - and is now off to their Championship match against Rotherham United tomorrow.

The die-hard fan has also set up a supporters club in the Asian country for the team top of the Championship.

The Newcastle fan got the result he wanted after such a long journey as Rafa Benitez's side cruised past Birmingham City 3-1 in the FA Cup replay thanks to two goals from Matt Ritchie and one from Yoan Gouffran.

Clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are well known for attracting fans from all over Asia. And it is little surprise that a team like Newcastle, who have such massive support in England, has also been noticed in that part of the world.
