The former Atletico Madrid striker looked bored as he had just a single coach - and free-kick dummies - to talk to.

His solitary training may be Antonio Conte's way of stopping the Spaniard from spreading any unrest among the rest of the Chelsea camp.

Conte claimed a back problem prevented Costa from training on Tuesday, which then led to a spat with coaches.

Speaking after the win at Leicester, he said: "I like to tell the truth and not lie. Diego stopped training on Tuesday because he felt a pain in his back and he didn’t train. That’s the truth.”

The Italian's side got on fine without Costa on Saturday, with Eden Hazard starting up front in his place.

Marcos Alonso scored twice and Pedro grabbed the third at the King Power Stadium.
