Stoke City transfer news: Mark Hughes admits he is facing a fight to keep Bojan at the club this month
Spaniard, who missed the win over Sunderland, has been linked with a £8m switch to Middlesbrough
MARK HUGHES fears Bojan wants to leave Stoke this month.
The Spanish playmaker, 26, missed Saturday’s 3-1 win at Sunderland with a hip problem and is an £8million target for Middlesbrough.
Potters boss Sparky said: “We’d like him to stay. But whether or not he or his advisors feel that is the best thing for his career, we will have to wait and see and maybe have further discussions about that.

“Ideally he just needs to settle down and focus on his career at Stoke.”
Defender Marc Muniesa is keen on a return home to Spain after being a bit-part player at Stoke, with Real Betis and Las Palmas eyeing up a £2.5m deal.
But Hughes is reluctant to let the ex-Barcelona left-back, 24, leave until he finds a replacement.
Crystal Palace’s Martin Kelly, 26, is among the targets being considered if Muniesa, who is worried about being priced out of a La Liga switch, does go.
