MAURO ICARDI is happy in Serie A but the Inter Milan forward says he may cash in at the end of his career with a move to the Chinese Super League.

The Argentine - who has scored 17 goals in 25 appearances this season - extended his contract last year in October until 2021 and is now Inter's skipper.

Recently the Chinese Super League have managed to lure the likes of Carlos Tevez and Oscar with their wads of cash - but Icardi has no intention of relocating to China just yet.

The 23-year-old told Sky Sports Italia: "China? I renewed [my contract].

"I'm happy to be with this shirt.

"China, there is always time at the end of career."

Icardi was previously linked with a January move to PSG last year following his clash with Inter's ultras - but his wife and agent, Wanda Nara, squashed the idea instantly claiming he would be going nowhere.

Wanda Nara told : “[Will he leave?] Get that out of your head.

“He will not go away from Inter, he will stay 100 per cent. He is – and will stay – the captain, which has not been in doubt.

“He had opportunities to leave last summer but chose to stay because of the relationship he has with the fans and because he is attached to Inter. He does not want to have to start all over again.

“The newspaper spoke of an exaggerated fine, but it is not so. The fine is a small percentage of his gross monthly salary, as the rules say, and Mauro asked for it to go to charity.”
