Meanwhile, Anthony Martial could cost Manchester United £8.5million if he shines against Liverpool.

The France forward  has a 25-goal clause in his contract — and he is currently on 23 overall after two in his last three games.

United paid Monaco £36m up front in September 2015 — the rest of the £57.6m deal is made up of add-ons, such as when Martial wins a 25th  cap or a Ballon d’Or nomination.
