The Real Madrid talisman came out on top at the star-studded award ceremony - but who got his vote?
CRISTIANO RONALDO voted for three Real Madrid players to be the FIFA Best Player of the Year award.
The eventual winner gave Gareth Bale the honour of being his top pick, with Luka Modric second and Sergio Ramos claiming his third vote.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi voted for three Barcelona players with Andres Iniesta and Neymar getting his vote but Luis Suarez being awarded the maximum five points as his top pick.

International team managers, captains and members of the media are eligible to vote for the FIFA Best Player of the Year award - with Cristiano Ronaldo coming out on top at the ceremony in Zurich on Monday.
The Real Madrid man beat off Barcelona’s Messi, who wasn’t at the event, and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann to collect the award at a star-studded event in Zurich this evening.
And the Euro 2016 winner aimed a cheeky dig at his rivals after picking up the gong.

After collecting the trophy from Fifa President Gianni Infantino, Ronaldo said: "I am sorry that some people from Barcelona aren't here with us... but that is understandable."
Ronaldo won the award after a truly remarkable year.
In 2016 he won the European Championship, Champions League, Club World Cup, plus individual best player awards from Fifa, Uefa, and France Football magazine.
Ronaldo scored the winning penalty to win Madrid the Champions League against city rivals Atletico before lifting his country’s first major trophy in France as Portugal’s captain.
He said: "2016 was the best year of my career.
"It was a year that was magnificent at a personal level and at a sports level."
