Chelsea and Swansea could swap Fernando Llorente and Michy Batshuayi in sensational January transfer deal
Antonio Conte wants reunion with Spaniard and is willing to sweeten deal by sending £33m striker the other way
CHELSEA are reportedly keen on signing Swansea’s Fernando Llorente and are ready to send Michy Batshuayi in the opposite direction.
Antonio Conte worked with the Spanish striker during his time at Juventus and claims he wants a reunion at Stamford Bridge this month.
Diego Costa has been leading the line during Chelsea’s terrific Premier League run, leaving Batshuayi to watch from the bench.
The Belgian is yet to start a Premier League game this season and it appears Conte would rather turn to Llorente as his back-up forward.
It’s unknown if Chelsea will try to sign him permanently or just on loan, but it’s believed Batshuayi will be included to sweeten the deal.
Swansea are apparently reluctant to part ways with Llorente even though he has failed to fire since moving to England last summer.
The Welsh club are battling for their lives after going through two managers already this season, but could find that highly-rated Batshuayi is just the man to grab the goals with regular football.
Chelsea have already made some movement this month by recalling Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth.
And there could be yet more arrivals during the winter window, with Conte on the hunt for a new midfielder after allowing Oscar and John Obi Mikel to join the Chinese Super League.
