16-YEAR-OLD Ryan Sessegnon bundled home a first-half winner as Fulham battled back from a goal down to beat Cardiff in the FA Cup third round.
Anthony Pilkington got the hosts off to a flying start when his free-kick was deflected past the helpless Marcus Bettinelli in the Fulham goal in the eighth minute.
But the visitors hit back immediately to level the tie as Stefan Johansen blasted the ball into the top right corner on 14 minutes.

And Fulham deservedly took the lead late in the opening period, making the most of their dominance, as Ryan Sessegnon bundled the ball home from close range.
Ultimately Cardiff had no answer for Slavisa Jokanovic’s men after, struggling below the 30 per cent mark in terms of possession for almost the entire game at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Neil Warnock’s men managed just a handful of shots on target all game, while Fulham ran riot at the other end, unleashing 17 efforts, with eight on target.
Warnock was ambitious in his substitutes, bringing on all three towards the end of the game in a bid to snatch a late equaliser and force a replay.
Bu ultimately it was the visitors who booked their place in the FA Cup fourth round, while Cardiff bow out.
