YOHAN CABAYE was called a “f****** French c***” and a “w*****” by a fuming Crystal Palace fan after their disappointing defeat to Swansea on Tuesday night.
Sam Allardyce’s new side was expected to steamroll the Welsh strugglers who had sacked manager Bob Bradley’s replacement, Paul Clement, in the stands but they suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at their Selhurst Park home.
Bottle-blond midfielder, Cabaye, played the full 90 minutes but couldn’t grab hold of the game and a fan from the famous Holmesdale Road stand launched a vicious verbal attack at him after the final whistle.

A witness told the : “The atmosphere was toxic throughout. Very quiet.
“This bloke had it in for Cabaye all game. "You f***ing French c***" repeatedly, first whistle to the last.
“The bloke has run to the end of the row, screaming at Cabaye, w***** signs, very obvious.
“His mates are holding him back and trying to stop him from screaming.”
Cabaye was signed by former boss Alan Pardew and has been accused of being one of the culprits for the Eagles’ drop in form.
The 30-year-old looked like a marquee signing when he was convinced to quit regular Ligue 1 winners and Qatari-backed billionaires PSG for south Londoners in July 2015.

Allardyce is widely expected to keep Palace up but Cabaye’s place might be jeopardy as the former England England boss needs to dramatically toughen up his side which sits just one point and place outside of the relegation zone.
