JINXED Thomas Vermaelen has suffered a calf problem... while ALREADY out with a groin injury.

But he pulled up in training on Monday with a fresh muscular blow.
Tests on Tuesday confirmed severe swelling on the star’s left calf – which the club will monitor ‘day-to-day’.

Vermaelen has managed just 29 league appearances in the last four seasons for the Gunners, Barca and Roma.
